17-year-old Caucasian, Hispanic female. She is a high school student who was born with ptosis (congenital ptosis). She eventually had trouble keeping her eyes open enough to do homework in the evenings.
Procedures: 1st a left upper eyelid ptosis repair (internal) resulted in right upper eyelid ptosis. 2nd a bilateral upper eyelid ptosis repair (external) restores symmetry.
