Your Dermal Filler Treatment 

After your consultation, Dr. Vargason will select the best filler type of filler for you. Before your treatment begins, the area will be numbed using a topical anesthetic cream. Once the cream has taken effect, Dr. Vargason will begin injecting. You may require several injections per area to receive the desired result. 

Dermal Filler Recovery

After dermal fillers in Boise, you will be able to resume your regular activities. You may experience some bruising, swelling, or redness in the area, which will resolve on its own after a few days. Most patients can continue with their day after treatment, although you will be asked to avoid exercise and excessive heat for the first few days.

What not to do after dermal fillers?

For the best results, avoid the following for 24 hours after dermal fillers:

  • Pressure on the treatment site

  • Oil-based makeup

Avoid the following for two weeks after dermal fillers:

Can dermal fillers be removed?

Dr. Vargason can remove dermal filler with an injectable treatment known as Hyaluronidase or Hyalase, enzymes that dissolve the bonds that hold the HA molecules together. Once broken down, these molecules are naturally absorbed by the body. You’ll notice reduced volume immediately after treatment, with full effects appearing after 72 hours.
